(02) About the human
I write code the way I ride — read the line, commit, adjust.
I'm Jakub, a software engineer from Slovakia with four years of professional experience — from CRMs for large companies to animation-heavy web portfolios and mobile apps.
I'm currently doing a Master's in Computer Science at DTU in Denmark. Away from the keyboard I chase quiet ridgelines and early lifts; both teach the same thing — preparation earns you the freedom to improvise.

(03) Experience
Lines I’ve ridden
Building mobile apps end to end — from the first prototype to features that real people use every day.
- Develop mobile apps from early concept to production, owning features across the app and the services behind it.
- Work closely with designers to turn interfaces into smooth, native-feeling interactions.
- Keep codebases maintainable as products grow: clear structure, reviews and steady iteration.
Built a CRM for large-scale companies, where speed and scalability were the whole brief.
- Developed CRM features on a modern Next.js and GraphQL stack, from data layer to interface.
- Focused on fast, scalable screens that stay responsive with large volumes of business data.
- Worked inside a bigger team on large-scale projects with shared conventions and review.
- Next.js
- GraphQL
Shaped the look and feel of large-scale web projects, including Showmore's own visually driven portfolio.
- Owned the visual side of the code — layout, detail and consistency between design and build.
- Implemented smooth, purposeful animations that make the experience feel alive without slowing it down.
- Collaborated with designers to keep every page captivating and cohesive.
Master's degree in Computer Science at DTU, Denmark.
(04) Redesigns
Before & after
Self-initiated concepts: real local businesses whose websites undersell them, rebuilt the way I’d do it. Unofficial and not affiliated with the businesses.
(05) Teams I’ve ridden with
Proud of these crews
01 / 02 Digital Fireworks
Visit Digital Fireworks (opens in a new tab)digitalfireworks.dk (opens in a new tab)A Danish digital studio that takes products from first idea to scale — Dream. Build. Scale. — with a small team that cares about craft.
My partI build mobile apps end to end, from early prototypes to features people use every day, working side by side with designers and the rest of the crew.
02 / 02 Showmore
Visit Showmore (opens in a new tab)showmore.cz (opens in a new tab)A design, marketing and development agency building visually driven, large-scale web projects for its clients.
My partI owned the visual side of the code — layout, detail and smooth, purposeful animation — and learned how a tight design-and-dev team ships work that feels alive.
